Women of the ELCA

We’re a community of women where fellowship, friendship, study, service and advocacy are nurtured. All women are welcome to join us at 10:00 am on the second Tuesday of each month for Bible study and fellowship. Throughout the year, we also have luncheons and other activities.   We regularly work on service projects for Lutheran World Relief such as quilting, personal care quilts, and school kits. Our mission: As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

Lutheran Men in Mission

All adult men are invited to join us for Lutheran Men in Mission.

We meet on the third Saturday of each month at 8:00 am for fellowship and devotions.   We also help provide an Easter Breakfast, a spaghetti dinner, and church workdays.  We plan and participate in other activities together throughout the year, such as a baseball game.

Our mission is to model the character of Jesus by living and leading a lifestyle intended to help transform us from an inward focus to a culture of naturally loving and serving our neighbors.

Discipleship

We engage in a variety of activities and events throughout the year to help us grow in our faith, including:

  • Adult Faith Formation (Sunday School)
  • Bible studies
  • Workshops
  • Lenten and Advent educational events

Fellowship

We offer many opportunities for fun and fellowship throughout the year to build a sense of community and belonging within our congregation.  We try to foster an environment where members can connect with one another, grow in their faith, and create lasting friendships.

Some of the many fellowship opportunities we participate in are:

  • Family Game Nights
  • Potluck Dinners
  • Church Picnics
  • Church Outings and trips
  • Lent and Advent Mid-week meals
  • After worship fellowship coffees
  • Christmas Caroling
