Children Are Welcome in Worship
At Good Shepherd, children aren’t just the future of the church.
They are part of the church today.
We believe children learn to worship by being with the worshiping community—hearing Scripture and music, watching Baptism and Communion, joining our prayers, and discovering over time what it means to gather as God’s people.
That’s why we’ve created Grace Space in our sanctuary.
Little Ones Are Welcome Here
Grace Space is a comfortable area where young children can play quietly, explore, and remain part of worship with their families.
You’ll find Bible story books, foam blocks, coloring pages and crayons, and other quiet activities for little hands and growing minds.
Parents and caregivers remain with and supervise their children while using the space.
Children are also always welcome to sit with their families anywhere in the sanctuary. Grace Space is an invitation, not an expectation. Use it for the whole service, part of the service, or not at all—whatever helps your family worship together.
We know worship with young children isn’t always quiet or perfectly still.
That’s okay.
Children are learning. And we are glad they are learning among us.
So bring the wiggles. Bring the questions. Bring the whole family.
